Starter of the Day: Marinated Sardines

The famous little blue fish is appreciated for its taste and the amount of Omega-3 it contains (yes, them again...). This unsaturated fat family slows the process of coronary degeneration. 
Sardines also promote bone health (packed with vitamine D) and are very rich in proteines. Many reason to try this delicious starter which will take you 5 minutes only to prepare.



                                  
For 6 people
18 fillets of  sardines (boned)
1 squeezed lemon
1 squeezed lime
1tbs coriander chopped
1 tea spoon shallot chopped finely
1tbs basil chopped
2tbs olive oil
1 garlic clove, chopped finely 
Salt and pepper
1 chopped Chili (optional)

Prepare the marinade with all the above ingredients put together.
Lay the sardines fillets in  the marinade
Place in the fridge for 2hours
Enjoy!

To Drink with: Albariño from Spain or Fiano from Italy
