A light and refreshing dessert for today. Pineapple will help your digestion, brings you a lot of vitamins and minerals (A, C, calcium, potassium...). This fruit is also rich in fiber and low in fat. All the nutrients it contains promote good health.
You can mix it with pretty much anything: spices, meat, fish etc.. Here is a very simple, yet fancy, preparation.

For 4 people
1 pineapple
150g small strawberries
1 lime
2 tbs sugar
8 basil leaves
Grate thinly the zest of the lime and mix it with the sugar
Peel the pineapple and cut out the "eyes". Cut it very thinly with a long sharp knife
Wash the strawberries and cut them in half
Lay the pineapple slices and the strawberries on each plate
Wash, dry and chop the basil leaves with scissors. Mix with the zested sugar.
Spoon this flavoured sugar over the fruits.
