Perfect presentation to impress your guests. You can choose to make it very light by serving this dish in small glasses or if you want a more consistent starter, use wine glasses, increase the proportions of ingredients and follow up with a lighter main course as avocado and taramasalata can be very filling.
For 4 people :
25cl Crème Fraiche
200g Crab meat chunks in a tin or fresh crab meat, drained
2 avocado
6 walnuts
1tbs lemon juice
150g taramasalata
Salt
½ tea spoon dill
4 cherry tomatoes
In a blender, mix the avocado with 1tbs of crème fraiche, a pinch of salt and the lemon juice.
In a separate bowl, crumble the crab meat with dill and 2tbs crème fraiche
Crush the walnut and mix them with the crab
In another bowl, mix 1tbs of crème fraiche with 2large tbs of taramasalata.
Fill 4 glasses with:
- 1 layer of avocado mix
- 1 layer of crab mix
- 1 layer of avocado mix
- 1 layer of tarama
- 1 cherry tomato on top
