They are very easy to prepare, super tasty and healthy. They will remind you of the summer you are for sure already missing.Very good source of lean proteins, the chicken is ideal when you want to keep your calories intake low. Pineapple will give you the fibres you need and accelerate the fat burning process. You can try this recipe with lamb, although it will be a higher-calorie version!
For 4 people :
1 pineapple
4 x 150gchicken breasts
6 tbs sunflower oil
1 tbs paprika
Salt, pepper
2 tbs basil, chopped
In a salad bowl, mix the oil, the basil and the paprika.
Cut the chicken in 2cms dice. Add them to the salad bowl and mix with the marinade. Reserve for 1 hour.
Dice the pineapple.
On the skewers, alternate pineapple and chicken pieces.
Cook for 20minutes in the oven (200C), in a frying pan or on a barbecue.
To Drink with: Chilled Red wine or Rose
To Eat with: Tabouleh or tomato-cucumber salad
